Multi-Currency Wallet

A Multi-Currency Wallet is the foundation for managing money in Paisr. Multi-Currency Wallets or MCWs are linked to your profile and act as the parent for other financial tools such as: Virtual Balances, Connected Accounts, Payment Links etc.

Set up your wallet

In order to start moving money with Paisr, you'll need to setup your Paisr Wallet. This can easily be done via the Dashboard or by using the Wallets API.

For personal and base business profiles, you can only have one active wallet. Enterprise businesses can have unlimited wallets.

Navigate to the Wallets section in your Dashboard and click on + New to create your Paisr Wallet. Once you've been redirected to your new Wallet, you can start creating balances, connect bank accounts and manage your wallet preferences.

Desktop Tip

Close the sidebar and use the Wallet Dock to navigate.

Wallet Nickname

One of the key elements of every Paisr Wallet is the Wallet Tag. This 6-48 character combination uniquely identifies your wallet to others on the plaform and makes it easy for them to send you money without having to know your full account details.

Set it to public so others on Paisr can add you as a contact, by default it's set to private.

Wallet Tag

If your wallet has already been added as a contact by another user, you can still receive money from them even if your tag is set to private.

Your wallet PIN is a 4-digit code that's used to approve payments from your wallet. You can view and rotate your PIN by visiting your wallet hub.
